Year 10 Work Experience Term 4, 2024
This week, our Year 10 cohort engaged in an important rite of passage as a part of their student learning: Work Experience. The Work Experience program is designed to provide students with the valuable opportunity to develop employability skills, explore possible career options and understand employer expectations. Our students organised their placements in a range of industries such as administration, childcare, retail, landscaping, hairdressing and trade.
We are thrilled to have received such positive feedback from employers who have praised the hard working nature of our students who have represented our school with pride. During one of our placement visits, one of our students Zainab was offered casual employment at Woolworths as their employer was so impressed with their work ethic.
