Year 7 Humanities - NGV Pharaoh Exhibition
On Wednesday 27th of August, our Year 7 Humanities students had the opportunity to attend the Pharaoh exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria.
Our students were privileged to attend a one hour education lecture on the importance of primary sources with our students demonstrating a solid understanding of the skills and concepts of ancient History when they were asked questions. After this, our students were given the time to view over 500 artifacts that date back to 3000BCE. It was a wonderful day for all.
Special thanks go out to Mr Hatz and Ms Poya for assisting me in the running of this excursion. Additional gratitude is also made to our admin staff Marica, Lisa, Louise and Ms Muir for assisting me in organising this great event.
