On Thursday 11th October, 17 students from Years 7-12 competed at the Regional Athletics Championships held at Casey Fields Athletics Track. Fountain Gate Secondary College was one of 57 schools competing on the day.
The students demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship throughout the day, congratulating those who competed in the events against them and were out in force supporting all students in their events. The students had minimal time to prepare for their events due to coming off the school holiday break, however; this did not seem to impact them. Both Mr Box and myself were proud of the way the students handled themselves throughout the day and the respect and pride they took in representing their College.

Fountain Gate Secondary College is fortunate to receive another Mod5 portable. The portable arrived on Thursday, 11th October and was installed beside the gymnasium and the Doctors in Schools portable. Many thanks to our staff for their patience and understanding with the lack of access to the car park in the morning, and also to our families who may have experienced an increase in the traffic flow that morning.
This new portable will be utilised as additional classrooms.
