The Chess Academy will bring together students who are curious about the game, whether they are complete beginners or already competing. Chess builds patience, focus, strategic thinking and resilience, and rewards patience, focus and the discipline to think a few moves ahead.
Through regular play, coaching and friendly competition, students will learn to plan ahead, evaluate decisions under pressure and learn from every result, skills that carry well beyond the board into the classroom and life beyond school.
