Our Year 7 students will head off to Allambee Camp in the Strzelecki Ranges for a fun and memorable overnight camp. This experience is all about helping students make new friends, work together, and grow in confidence as they start their high school journey.

When and Where

Year 7 Connect Camp runs in Term 2 at Allambee Camp, located about 1.5 hours from Fountain Gate Secondary College. Students attend for one night (two days) in Year 7, before returning for a longer stay in Year 8.

Cost

Details about payment, permission forms, and medical information will be provided closer to the date.

Activities

Students will enjoy a wide variety of outdoor adventures, designed to suit all interests and abilities.

Activities may include:

  • Adventure challenges: Giant Swing, Flying Fox, Archery, Low Ropes Course
  • Teamwork activities: Hut Building, Billy Carts, Initiative Course, Orienteering
  • Nature experiences: Bushwalking, Campfire Cooking, Bush Arts & Crafts
  • Evening fun: Campfire, Night Walk, Reflector Trail
