All students receive regular feedback through our ‘live reporting’ process. In the middle of each term and at the end of terms 1 and 3, students receive a Progress Report. This outlines the student’s performance in each subject, including their Academic Achievement, their Learning Habits, and whether they are up to date with their work.
Each term, students complete a Learning Task for each subject. Teachers provide feedback on these tasks via Compass. This is visible to parents under the ‘Learning Tasks’ tab on the student’s individual Compass profile.
Every , students receive a detailed report which contains feedback about their Learning Habits, a summary of their performance on Learning Tasks, and their performance against the Victorian Curriculum Standards.
All of these reports are published through Compass, so it’s essential that parents regularly check the Compass Parent Portal.
Additionally, we have our Data Passport for Years 7 to 10, which is published at the end of term 1 and the beginning of term 3. The Data Passport shows your child's literacy and numeracy data according to the following bands:
The Data Passport also highlights the level of growth the student has shown, and details their eligibility for enrichment or extension programs at the college.
