What Opportunities Does CHES Offer?
Higher Education Studies (University Subjects)
gives selected Year 12 students the opportunity to study a first-year subject while still at school.

These subjects have entry requirements, usually including:
- Completion of a related 3 & 4 subject in Year 11
- A high study score
VCE Subjects Through CHES
also offers specialised subjects for high-ability students, including:
- Algorithmics (Units 3 & 4)
- Extended Investigation (Units 3 & 4)
- English Language (Units 1–4)
- Philosophy Units 1 & 2 launching in 2027, Units 3 & 4 in 2028
- Classical Studies Units 1 & 2 in 2027, Units 3 & 4 in 2028
