What is Head Start?

Head Start is a pathway for students (15+ in Years 10, 11 & 12) who want to start an or while still at school.

It allows you to spend more time working and training in a real job, while completing your or .

How Head Start Works

A Head Start program has three key parts:

1. Flexible School Program

  • Your or studies are adjusted to fit around your work
  • Strong focus on literacy and numeracy skills

2. Industry Training

3. Paid Work

  • You spend more time on the job each year
