Students will study four elective subjects in Year 9. All of these choices are considered GUIDED CHOICES because they must come from The Arts and The Technologies. 

There are four elective blocks per year – two a semester. At least one elective must be from the Arts and one from the Technologies.

Must be chosen from The Arts. Must be chosen from The Technologies. Can be chosen from either The Arts or The Technologies. Can be chosen from either The Arts or The Technologies.

Note: Students in the Rugby Academy will only have electives 1 and 2. 

All electives are 5 periods a fortnight. 

Each subject has literacy and numeracy requirements, and there is theory to complete. This theory is linked to the type of elective and all electives have both theory and practical application.
