Visual Communication Design introduces students to how designers communicate ideas through the design fields of Messages, Objects, Environments and Interactive Experiences.

Students explore creative design projects including designing a personalised shoe concept inspired by contemporary branding, illustration and sneaker culture.

Students also complete a kitchen design project where they investigate technical drawing conventions including planometric drawing and interior layout design used by designers and architects. Through creative studio activities, students develop design thinking, drawing skills and visual communication techniques while exploring how designers communicate ideas to different audiences.
