In Year 10 Digital Technologies, students engage with a range of real-world problems using software development, 3D design and cybersecurity principles, building on the skills developed in Year 9. Students define and solve complex problems; prioritise usability and accessibility; design and test programming algorithms; and critically evaluate solutions for risk, sustainability and innovation. They explore coding algorithms and how to evaluate different approaches.

As part of this course, students will engage with and refine their use of basic functions of several different programming languages. Through collaborative teamwork and problem-solving, students will develop their communication and collaborative skills while also enhancing their digital literacy skills.
